An outstanding article about the meltdown of our dear leader. While I am happy to see the decline, and was never fooled by foam pillars and soaring speeches, it is highly disturbing. The fact is, the American People got duped, and now has a radical socialist at the helm of a soon to be lame duck presidency. He will continue to spend, he will continue to redistribute, and he will continue to weaken the nation - because? He is, and was, a hyper leftist. Leftists always have to cover their true intentions with lies, because Americans don't want their solutions. Their solutions don't work. The best part is though - that the LEFT is disappointed with him! The MOST LIBERAL president, who has delivered so much national weakness and expansion of government. To the left - it is not ENOUGH?! Do you realize HOW FAR out of step the rabid leftists are? At what point can any fair minded person see that the left is driven by a consuming hatred for this country and the principles on which it has become so strong? Who can look at the global morass of debt and entitlement and think that is the direction we should head? Will the world really be better off with America weak and unable to respond to the needs and demands that it has borne for the last 100 years?
Here's the plan. Lock this guy up in November. Take the house, the senate, and let Marie Antoinette Obama go on a few more safaris while the rest of the country is scrounging for work in the wake of this Obamanation.
Let's just get this straight. Our new health Czar who says he is "in love" with the UK's health care system. Today in the NYT, this quote comes out of an article, detailing how Britain is planning to decentralize their system after 70 years. Get this-

Do you get this America? After years of cost overruns, lousy service, and poor health - they finally realize what? DON'T GIVE YOUR FREEDOM to GOVERNMENT and expect them to take care of you! Only YOU take care of you. Choose the doctors that serve you BEST. If you took your money AWAY from your employer provided insurance (who in turn gives you lower wages) and had your own money to purchase a health care plan that you wanted, people work for YOU. Why would I expect to go to an insurance company to pay for a blown light bulb in my house? I don't. I go to Lowe's and buy it. I don't need some company in between. For normal health related issues, I want to pay my Dr. DIRECTLY. For catastrophic issues, I need insurance to be there for me if it happens.
One simple plan. End the employer based insurance incentives, and give INDIVIDUALS a direct write off for all out of pocket medical expenses. A guy spends 5 grand, and makes 100,000, he made 95,000 this year. Incentivize people to maintain their own policies throughout their lifetime. Have a strong, sustainable Medicare plan at the bottom to help people who cannot afford catastrophic insurance.
How many examples America must we see of failed government centralization? Katrina, 9-11, BP ? No one in government is taking care of you. The founders knew this! This is why they wanted small centralized government to do the things that they must. Why do liberals still have this unwavering faith in government in the face of overwhelming proof.
I love the reaction from Liberals when a leather-clad Sarah Palin gets the Drill Baby Drill rolling. Of course, with the disaster unfolding in the Gulf, it doesn't seem tasteful. The same folks that can't stand DBD are the same ones that go crazy because we pollute other countries like Africa and South America with oil that is destined for here. I thought it was *cool* to do everything locally? Doesn't Gulf drilling put the potential consequences of disaster right in the lap of those who desire it? It is WAY worse to take oil out of the ground from a poor African country, polluting as you go, then ship and drip the stuff all the way over here - isn't it?
Is it better supporting despots like Hugo Chavez, and his corrupt thugs who are building strength by the transfer of our wealth? Isn't Al-qaeda's biggest beef with us that we support the Saudis and stay on their peninsula?
The stuff is bad - we all know this. But we need it - and if we don't get it, some other country who doesn't give a damn about safety or environmental protection will go and get it. The United States needs to LEAD the world away from oil with advanced technology that renders the stuff useless. We didn't stop killing whales because they were cute. We stopped because once you saw an electric lamp glow, you threw the oil pail out the window. If we can build a bomb that blows up a city, we can figure this out.
The GOP needs to be the leader in conservation and efficiency investment. You can't spell CONSERVATIVE without CONSERVE! It was the GOP under Nixon who created the EPA. It was Teddy Roosevelt who created the national parks. We give up WAY too much ground on this issue to the crunchy hemp shirted left. We need energy independence, and domestic drilling is one part of the solution.
As my Toyota truck was getting a free factory warranty covered exhaust system, I was forced to watch CNN for 2 hours. What AGONY. First off, it just looks awful, no color, nothing vibrant, just Anderson Cooper profiling for the camera. But the liberal tendency shows through - as all I saw for 2 hours was an OBSESSION with RACE. Leftists see the world only through racial lines - and continue to perpetuate stereotypes and foment conflict because? You guessed it. IT GIVES THEM POWER. They go from one *oppressed* group to the next. So CNN shows their piece about the doll color chart, where they show young children pictures of identical dolls on a light/dark color spectrum and ask them questions. Who is GOOD? Who is BAD? Who is PRETTY? You know that the organizers of the test are just DYING to see kids point out the "BAD" dark skinned doll.
I saw the same piece TWICE in to hours, and they advertised for it 5 times in the 2 hours! The piece could have lasted minutes, but of course Soledad O'brien (of BLACK IN AMERICA fame) milked it for 30. Sure, there are some overtones to the test that are unsettling. What if the test were done with pancakes? What is the good pancake - the light golden one, or the dark one? Would the test results bear any similarity? Of course, there are race issues and stereotypes in all people. But to keep POUNDING it shows the left's CONSTANT need to keep it going. REAL racial harmony is delivered by GETTING OVER IT and letting FREEDOM take hold. The left is all sensitive about race issues, until a supremely qualified Supreme Court nominee comes before them, then they race for the old dirty playbook.
It shows the underlying truth about the left. They cannot compete in the arena of ideas, so they shoot for bare knuckle, race based or class based politics at every turn. The US has never seen a president so consumed with groups. He calls them out by name in his addresses! Latinos. GLBT's. Blacks. What happened to one America Mr. President? Or does one America not suit your taste?
Heard this great one on NPR the other day. So in discussing the plight of Greece, liberal experts add their always valuable view. One expert tried to slide in the fact that, well, Grecians are not exactly known for "hard work". He tried to tip toe around this as much has he possibly could, but the facts are inescapable. A fat, entitlement, government mess corrupts societies to their core. They tried to lightly touch on the fact that most Greeks who come to America are hard working and thrifty. But somehow the native Grecians were not. There had to a be a difference.
Well, you know, Europeans "get more out of life" and live to "live". This is a great spin, that needs to be dissected. Get more out of life = drink, smoke, and not work. Here in America we call those "bums". If a guy on my hockey team comes into the locker drunk and is unable to skate, I don't think he has learned somehow to "appreciate" life more. Of course, because he is enjoying AMERICAN life to the liberal, he is a lazy bum.
But if somehow this same person was say, in Greece, where the CLIMATE is nice (the lib's next point) well, it's enjoying and life. You know Greece - with the togas and sandals, and ancient buildings, there it's - you know - more classy. In Greece, it is GREAT you just sit around and drink wine out of urns, and eat peeled grapes! They GET MORE out of life and ENJOY life more! The Mediterranean climate you know is SO NICE you know you just can't WORK a 40 hour week! No way. We are made to envision cypress trees and marble floors under sunny skies. Ah, if I just could let someone ELSE pay for my 30 hour work week and endless pension and benefits.

This "tax cut" he brags about is a farce. First of all, it is pennies. Second of all, he will take 9X more of your money later! Soon after this sunset, the leftists rammed through socialist health care with bipartisan opposition, and against the will of the American people. It marks the end of a country founded on Liberty, self-determination and success. Until the Patriots of this nation stand up and repeal the horrid aspects of this bill, our country and its people will steadily decline in freedom and prosperity. We will languish with 10%+ unemployment, and suffer the incredible degrading forces of runaway inflation. Oh and by the way, liberals hook a few more on the doles, their idea of "freedom". Next it will be to give amnesty to illegals, and bring another 15 million in into the fold. To drain - to suck - and to take away what is left of your future, and your children's futures.
Today our dear leader celebrated his "victory" by addressing the American people with the usual arrogance, condescension, and smarminess which he has disgraced his office with. He gloated how much "noise" was created by the other side. He simply looks at people who oppose him as NOISE. I can't wait to make some real noise throughout this mid-term election. He couldn't resist the urge to say it a few times, as you can see how it feeds his enormous narcissistic ego. He explained how we would see in the coming months how this isn't a socialist takeover. That is because, to an extreme leftist, taking over a sixth of the economy and rapidly expanding government and debt as we have never seen, is small potatoes to him. Redistributing wealth to this small degree is simply a taste of what he and his leftist minions have in mind. If we only didn't make so much "noise" as we have our children's and grandchildren's futures mortgaged ah how much easier and quicker this all would have been.
The American Health Care system, although in need of reform, produces the best outcomes and the most innovation in the world. This country creates more innovations in drugs and techniques than all the other nation combined. CREATED I should say. Instead of pursuing excellence, doctors will now become more like the union sheep who "educate" our kids. The one last thing this country did well is now gone. All because stupid people think that government can do better for them than they can if they have their own free choice. NOTHING is more cruel than an economy so crippled by taxes and inflation that no one can earn a living on their own. Nothing strips your dignity and liberty than a government that strangles excellence in pursuit of so called "fairness". America already has safety nets in place to help those in need. You take away America's success and excellence, you watch how many people get our charity here, and around the world. The Chicons gave a million dollars to Haiti, we have individuals who gave 2.5 times that. That which is not earned, is not valued.
The only hope we have is to repeal this monstrosity and impeach this president for a complete abrogation of his responsibility to the constitution. Barack Obama is the most divisive and dangerous president in the history of the United States. This is only beginning of the "change" he promised. To leftists, real change is stopping America from being strong, free, and successful, and bringing us into the world morass. Then and only then, when the entire world is bankrupt, will the next phase of leftist paradise, a true world government and redistribution of wealth as Alinksy, Pike, and Drummond would never have dared to dream.

Why didn't the boy's mother apply for Medicaid? We already HAVE programs to protect people from this sort of medical situation. Why do we need to layer on more? Would more have saved her? Lets get to the bottom of this poor boy's situation. MILLIONS of Americans are ELIGIBLE for benefit and they don't even sign up. I am supposed to feel bad when they don't accept the aid we already have access to? What else can we POSSIBLY do? And don't think for a minute that if thie bill was enacted in force, that horrible things won't happen. They will. Only leftists believe that somehow taking more of our freedoms and our liberties will help this poor boy - oh and by the way give them WAY more power and influence. Just a coincidence mind you - they don't want all the power, but they will take it all to *ahem* help the poor boy.
I believe in American Exceptionalism.It isn't magic, it isn't spiritual, it isn't something in the water. It IS because we reject the notion that government CAN or SHOULD take care of us. We KNOW they can't. Private insurance needs reform, it needs to have incentives and COMPETITION to improve it. You cannot control something as complex and variable as Health Care with government. And stop your whole "the rest of the WORLD does it" stuff. Another constant refrain from someone who just deep down doesn't like this country. Guess what - horrible things happen there TOO. At huge cost in quality and access for ALL. We can fix what is wrong with the current system, giving more people access, lowering costs, and eliminating the pre-existing condition issue all without the intrusion, the centralized planning, and the socialist takeover.
